Schedule recurring scans
Run duplicate detection automatically on a daily, weekly, or monthly cadence.
Instead of starting scans by hand, you can have DeDupe scan on a recurring schedule. Find this under Settings → Scan schedules (available to operators and admins).
Create a schedule
- Click New Schedule (or Create First Schedule if you have none yet).
- Choose the Object Type — Companies or People.
- Choose a Frequency — Daily, Weekly, or Monthly.
- Weekly adds a Day of Week picker.
- Monthly adds a Day of Month picker (1–31).
- Set the Time of Day. All times are in UTC.
- Click Create Schedule.
DeDupe shows the schedule in plain language, for example "Every Monday at 09:00 UTC" or "1st of each month at 09:00 UTC."
Manage schedules
Each schedule card shows its status (Active / Paused), the last run result, the next run time, and a success count. You can:
- Toggle a schedule on or off with the switch.
- Edit it (the pencil icon) — note the object type is fixed once created.
- Delete it (the trash icon).
What a scheduled scan does
Each run refreshes data from Attio, runs all enabled matching strategies, and stores any new duplicate pairs in your queue. Schedules are ideal for keeping a periodically-imported list clean.
Scheduled scans vs live monitoring
- Scheduled scans re-check the whole object type on a cadence you set — good for batch imports.
- Live monitoring reacts the moment a record changes in Attio — good for catching duplicates as they're created.
Many teams use both.
