Review the duplicate queue

The Duplicate queue is where you work through everything DeDupe has found. Open it from Duplicates in the sidebar. The heading shows how many pairs are pending.

Two layouts

Use the layout toggle to switch between:

• Split — a list of pairs on the left with a live side-by-side detail view on the right. Best for working quickly.
• List — a full-width table; clicking a row opens the pair on its own page.

Filtering the queue

Status chips narrow the list: All, Pending, Confirmed, Deferred, Rejected, Merged. An Attention chip collects anything risky — open risk alerts, failed merges, and high AI-risk pairs.

Open Filters for more control:

• Search by name, email, or company
• Type — People or Companies
• Minimum and maximum confidence
• Conflicts — has conflicts / no conflicts
• Cluster — standalone pairs or pairs that belong to a cluster

Comparing a pair

Selecting a pair shows a side-by-side comparison: both record names, the confidence score, the match reasons, and a field-by-field table with columns for each record plus the merge result. Conflicts are sorted most-severe first, and a Hide identical toggle collapses fields that already match.

You can also leave threaded review notes with a recommended action (Comment, Approve, Merge, Reject, or Defer) so teammates know your call.

Acting on pairs

Select one or more rows to reveal the bulk action bar:

• Approve — mark as confirmed duplicates, ready to merge.
• Reject — mark as not duplicates (see False positives).
• Defer — snooze until a date you pick (defaults to a week out).
• Bulk merge — merge confirmed pairs together (see Merge in bulk).

Keyboard shortcuts

The queue is built for speed. With a pair focused:

Once a pair is approved, continue to Approve and merge.
