Merge in bulk

Once you've reviewed a batch of pairs, you can merge them all in one go instead of one at a time.

Start a bulk merge

1. In the duplicate queue, select the pairs you want to merge. Bulk merge is enabled once your selection includes confirmed pairs.
2. Click Bulk merge to open the Bulk Merge dialog. DeDupe runs a preview automatically.

Reading the preview

The preview sorts your selection into three groups:

• Ready to Merge — pairs with no blocking conflicts.
• Will Be Skipped — pairs with unresolved conflicts or that aren't confirmed. Review these individually first.
• Errors — pairs DeDupe couldn't process.

Each row shows its object type and a short conflict summary. If nothing is mergeable, you'll see "No pairs can be auto-merged" — those pairs need manual review or aren't confirmed yet.

Run it

Click Merge N Pair(s) to queue the mergeable pairs. They process in the background, so you can close the dialog and keep working — anything already queued keeps running. When it's done you'll see "N merge(s) queued" and can jump to View Merge History.

Track progress

The merge progress panel shows a live progress bar, success/failure/skip counts, an activity log, and a time estimate, refreshing every couple of seconds. You can Cancel while a batch is still running.

Every merged pair lands in merge history, and each one can be undone within 30 days.
