Turn on live monitoring

Detect duplicates in real time as records change in Attio.

Live monitoring watches your Attio workspace through a webhook and flags potential duplicates the moment a record is created or changed — no waiting for the next scan. Open it from Monitoring in the sidebar.

Enable monitoring

If monitoring isn't on yet, the page shows Monitoring not enabled with one of two paths:

  • Enable monitoring — if DeDupe already has the webhook permission, this registers the inbound webhook and starts real-time detection.
  • Reconnect to enable monitoring — if the permission is missing, this re-runs Attio authorization to grant it. See Connect your Attio workspace.

Enabling monitoring requires admin permissions. If you're not an admin, ask a workspace admin to turn it on.

What you'll see

The monitoring page shows detection status at a glance — live, degraded, or inactive — plus:

  • A live event stream of record changes (create, update, merge, delete) and the outcome of each (pair flagged, no duplicate found, and so on).
  • A median time-to-detect metric — how fast a new record turns into a flagged pair.
  • The registered Attio webhook and when it was last checked.

The sidebar heartbeat pill mirrors this status from anywhere in the app.

Keeping it healthy

If detection degrades, admins have two controls on the page:

  • Check webhook — verifies the webhook with Attio and repairs it if it's missing or degraded.
  • Reconfigure — forces a fresh registration and rotates the signing secret. Use this if monitoring seems stuck.

A banner will prompt you to reconnect if the webhook permission is ever lost.

Get notified

Pair live monitoring with notifications and alerts so you hear about new duplicates the moment they're detected.
