Tune detection

Adjust confidence weights, automation, AI, and rate limits in the Detection cockpit.

The Detection cockpit is where admins tune how DeDupe scores, automates, and processes duplicate detection for a workspace. Find it at Settings → Configuration. Changes take effect on the next scan.

The page has four tabs.

Confidence Scoring

Four sliders set how much each factor counts toward a pair's confidence score:

  • Match score — strength of the matching strategy.
  • Method reliability — how trustworthy that strategy is.
  • Attribute overlap — how much other data the records share.
  • Data quality — how complete and clean the records are.

The weights must total 100% — a live indicator turns green when they balance, and you can't save until they do. Use Reset weights to defaults to start over.

Automation Rules

Set thresholds for auto-merge, auto-flag, and auto-reject, and require manual review when critical fields conflict. A live preview shows how many pending pairs each threshold would affect.

AI Preferences

  • AI-assisted detection — use AI to improve accuracy.
  • Model tier — Fast (lower cost), Balanced (best value), or Accurate (higher accuracy).
  • AI recommendations and AI explanations toggles.
  • Max AI calls per scan — a per-scan budget.

Rate Limits

Control how hard DeDupe works against the Attio API: max requests per minute, max concurrent scans, batch size, batch delay, and max daily record scans, plus an adaptive rate limiting toggle that adjusts automatically based on API response times.

Only workspace administrators can change these settings. For per-field and per-rule control, see Create custom matching rules.
